Why should we care about English poet and hymnodist William Cowper? Well, he was one of the most popular poets of his time—he wrote about everyday life and scenes on the gorgeous English countryside. He led the way for Romantic poetry, and he wrote some beloved hymns. He even gave us some quotes that we all know so well.

Where are we going with this?

William Cowper once wrote, “Variety’s the very spice of life, / That gives it all its flavour.”

Yeah! We knew we had a good thing going with our herbal incense variety packs. After all, why settle for just one thing when you can have all of life’s flavor? Who knows… you might end up finding something new that you wouldn’t have picked out on your own. No matter what, you won’t be disappointed when you take in all that life has to offer. Variety truly is the SPICE of life! Don’t let yourself get stuck in a rut.

You might be stuck in a rut if:

• You don’t have any joy, you’re tired, and you lack enthusiasm
• You are always worried
• Life feels like one big struggle

It could be because you’re stuck doing the same stuff all the time! Take some of Cowper’s advice… add a little variety. It should spice things up.
