![]() Happy Earth Day everyone! Now that the big day is here, how are you going to make the most of it? Here are some more “green” tips to help you make the world a better place on Earth Day and every other day of the year. • It should go without saying, but be sure to turn the lights off when you leave a room. • Minimize water use when you’re washing dishes or brushing your teeth. • Pay your bills online! This takes a huge burden off of the environment. If everyone in the US switched to paperless billing, we could save 18 million trees per year! • Cut back on the use of plastic bags. Take reusable bags to the store. They’re fun, too. You can get them in so many colors and patterns. • You can help your pets reduce their carbon footprint, as well. Use biodegradable bags for pet waste. • Walk whenever you can! Eliminating harmful emissions from your car will help the environment. If you leave your car at home two days a week, you can cut back on greenhouse gas emissions by 1,600 pounds per year. Have a great Earth Day from everyone here at Whole Earth Packaging!

![]() We like to keep things new and exciting here at Whole Earth Packaging. That’s why we’re introducing some new additions to our herbal incense line. These relaxing incenses will help you wind down after a long day. And what better way to make the world a better place? • Zombie Matter potpourri is just as awesome as it sounds. We love zombie movies (really… who doesn’t?) and these potpourri blends are the perfect addition to a zombie movie marathon. (It doesn’t have to be a zombie movie, either. The Twilight blend goes perfectly with some sparkly vampire movies.) • Zombies not scary enough for you? Then try the Demon incense blend. This devilishly good potpourri can’t be beat. Just burn some in your favorite incense burner. You can prepare to be possessed. (Then, you know, watch The Exorcist or something. Really. Herbal incense goes so well with movies.) • Born on the bayou… Here comes a great addition to your herbal collection. Bayou Blaster herbal potpourri is truly unique. It’s like everything that’s good about the swamp all at once. • This potpourri needs little introduction: Super Kush botanical potpourri. Just get some. • No, it’s not the Bronx Zoo cobra—but it’s just as awesome. Green Cobra Botanical Potpourri is sure to leave you breathless. Don’t forget! We got a little carried away with all our new herbal incense products. But don’t forget that Earth Day is this Friday!

![]() We’ve been talking about Earth Day for a while now. It’s only 11 days away! If you’re planning an Earth Day party, be sure to use biodegradable dishes, flatware, and other supplies. You can find everything you need here at Whole Earth Packaging. We’re also here to help you make the most of the day. Today we’ll talk about Earth Day party decorations. After all, an Earth Day party is a fun way to remind your friends how important our environmental efforts are. Earth Day Colors The color scheme of your Earth Day party should reflect nature. Go with blues, greens, and white. You can make the whole place look like a globe! Inflatable Globes If you can find beach balls that look like the Earth, you can hang them around the room. Keep it Green! What better way to celebrate the Earth than to use it as decoration? Use plants in decorative pots to set the mood. These plants can also double as fun party favors. Recycled Centerpieces You can create centerpieces using items that might normally be thrown away. For instance, turn tin cans into vases, use shredded paper for confetti, and make a sculpture from other recycled materials. If you do this, we’d love to see your creations! Poster A mural or poster depicting the meaning of Earth Day can be a poignant decoration. Ask each guest to contribute. by: Whole Earth Packaging

![]() Earth Day is two weeks away! If you’re planning any celebrations, you need a great playlist. There have been so many great environmental songs written in the past decades. When you’re choosing your biodegradable supplies from Whole Earth Packaging, remember just how much you’re helping the environment. There are many “green” songs out there. Here are a few of our favorites. • “I Remember California” – R.E.M. • “Mother Earth (Natural Anthem)” – Neil Young • “Don’t Go Near the Water” – Johnny Cash • “If a Tree Falls” – Bruce Cockburn • “Don’t Go Near the Water” – The Beach Boys • “Nature’s Way” – Spirit • “Shapes of Things” – The Yardbirds • “Paradise” – John Prine • “Big Yellow Taxi” – Joni Mitchell • “Mercy Mercy Me (the Ecology” – Marvin Gaye • “Earth Day” – John Denver • “Earth Song” – Michael Jackson • “Power” – John Hall • “Wonderful World” – Louis Armstrong • “One Sweet World” – Dave Matthews Band Do you have any Earth songs you’d like to add to the list?
