Christmas really snuck up on us this year! If you’re anything like a few of us here at Whole Earth Packaging, you aren’t quite finished with your holiday shopping. We know that we shouldn’t wait until the last minute to take care of these things—but we end up doing it anyway. (Hey, we’re busy making sure that you get your herbal incense and eco-friendly supplies!) If you’re in the same boat, you can still make some pretty good gift purchases if you take a few precautions. Here are some tips and tricks we’ve amassed after a few years of being last-minute-shoppers.

  • Make sure you have a game plan before you head out. Sometimes it helps to make a list. Know who you’re buying for, and (if possible) what you’re planning to buy.
  • Pick a good place to shop. The mall might seem like an obvious choice—and for good reason. There are lots of stores all in the same place. But you might even have more luck in a local store. It’ll likely be less crowded, so you won’t get nearly as stressed out. (Nothing a little herbal incense can’t fix when you get home, though!)
  • Make firm decisions. Can’t decide on a pink or purple sweater for your cousin? Just make a choice. You don’t need to waste time mulling over decisions like that in the store.

Just remember, the holiday season is about enjoying friends and family—so don’t stress out too much about the gifts. If you do find yourself getting stressed, we have the perfect herbal incense to calm your nerves.
