Earth Day is a little less than a month away, and it’s the perfect day to celebrate Mother Nature. Here at Whole Earth Packaging, we sell products that can help make the world a better place. We’ve got a few tips to help you celebrate April 22nd.

You can plan an Earth Day celebration meal. If you have the means to do so, plan a meal made with as many locally and sustainably produced products as possible. You can plan an elaborate breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, or dinner with locally produced ingredients. It’s still kind of early for local farmers’ markets, but food co-ops can be a great source for these items. We have many earth-friendly dishes and silverware to help you celebrate.

Planning a hands-on project for Earth Day can be very rewarding. Do the Earth a favor by enhancing the eco-system. Build a birdfeeder, mix birdseed for the rest of the season, plant butterfly, hummingbird, or bee flowers, or set up a makeshift birdbath in your yard. This is a great way to get the kids involved.

Celebrate Earth Day with your community! Check the newspaper for local Earth Day celebrations. It’s great to join others with a shared interest. Community Earth Day celebrations can include woodland or beach-work parties (depending on where you live), environment fundraisers, speakers, and taste-testing.
